Fiberglass base sheet is applied over the flat roofing deck or insulation as a base sheet by mechanical fasteners or hot asphalt before the application of build up roofing systems. Henry 604 25 fiberglass base sheet is a heavy duty asphalt coated sheet with a heavyweight non woven fiberglass mat suitable for use in fire retardant membrane assemblies built up roofing systems ply sheets and base sheets. Polyglass g2 base is designed as a base sheet for built up and modified roofing applications. There is a slight grid pattern embossed into the granules to further aid in venting latent moisture in the existing roof system or deck.

Technical information certainteed glasbase base sheet is manufactured on an extra strength fiberglass reinforced mat that receives a coating of weathering grade asphalt and is lightly surfaced with a mineral release agent. It has a coating layer of asphalt on each side that reacts with henry cold application cement solvents to provide excellent adhesion without decreased tensile strength. Firestone channel venting base is an oxidized asphalt coated fiberglass base sheet with granules on the underside of the membrane. Leakbarrier glass base is designed for use as the initial or base ply in built up and modified bitumen roof systems.

Polyglass g2 base is a fiberglass mat coated with an oxidized asphalt blend which provides enhanced weathering and aging characteristics. Required base sheet before applying torch down or self adhered roofing most economical base sheet manufacturer may vary. Gafglas 75 base sheet for built up roofing bur is a premium roofing sheet with a strong fiberglass mat to prevent asphalt bleed through. Tri ply 75 base sheet is a premium roofing base sheet constructed with a fiberglass mat reinforcing that is coated on both sides to ensure a closed sheet design to prevent asphalt bleed through.

It provides great tear and pull through resistance. The sealed sheet also serves as an effective flame retarder for the application of torch applied modified bitumen membranes.
