After you are done cut to adjust the length and get ready to work the next layer. Ensure all superquilt insulation joints are overlapped by min 50mm. When installing foil insulation you must use a quality stapler. It is easily cut and placed and reflects heat rather than absorbing it.

Ensure overlaps are fully taped and sealed using thermaseal foil joining tape. Reflective foil insulation is made from layers of aluminium foil surrounding a wadding or layer of wool material. Due to the varying nature of the construction of buildings each property may require a slightly different approach when installing insulation on the roof. Whilst there will be some resistance to conduction thanks to the air gaps between the layers of foil most of the performance of the material lies in its ability to reflect radiative heat back into the room.

Also when you overlap the joints be sure to keep it to a 50 mm lap.
